Nathaniel and Catherine when they were about 3 and 2. These were taken at my grandparents’ house in Mt Vernon, WA, as the sun was going down.

Halo

We let Nathaniel’s hair grow for his first few years without cutting it at all.

I think Cat’s wearing Nathaniel’s old jacket.

  1. They were such adorable toddlers!

  2. Fun pictures. I was so sad when we finally cut the curly locks off my son. He looked so grown up all of a sudden—I felt like I’d lost my baby forever.

Did you grow up in WA state? That’s where I’m at now. And aren’t you living in CA? That’s where I grew up. :)

  3. How funny. Yes I grew up in the Seattle area. We lived on the Peninsula for about 4-5 years when the kids were small, too, in Sequim.

Now we live in Huntington Beach.

  4. Adorable photos. Just goes to show you cute kids grow up to be cute teenagers!

  5. I grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. I spent many summer days at Huntington Beach.

Now we’re just about 30 miles north of Seattle.

    That is funny.
